Sharpley Returns From Notre Dame Camp

Marshall, Mich. quarterback Evan Sharpley has returned from Notre Dame camp and Irish Eyes spoke with Sharpley to get his thoughts on camp. How did Sharpley stack up against the competition? When will a quarterback be offered? Irish Eyes found out.

Quarterback Evan Sharpley said he was very pleased with his performance on Tuesday at Notre Dame's one-day camp. "It went awesome," said Sharpley. "I thought I threw very well. I thought I had a pretty good showing. I had a lot of fun there."

Sharpley said he had a chance to speak with Bill Diedrick to find out what would be happening with an offer. "I spoke with coach Diedrick after the camp," said Sharpley. "He said he would talk with coach Willingham and they would start sending out offers within a week. He said they are down to three guys."

We asked Sharpley if he was told who the three were. "Yeah, myself, Rob Schoenhoft and Jason Forcier."

Comments: Sharpley has said he'd make an early decision. Forcier and Schoenhoft have as well. We are sure Mark Sanchez is still in the race at quarterback. Regardless, Sharpley is still in the hunt for an Irish offer. We will keep in touch with Sharpley to find out the latest. Top Stories
