Duncan Returns From Irish Camp

Dallas, Georgia offensive line prospect Paul Duncan recently returned for Notre Dame camp. Irish Eyes caught up with Duncan to find out what he thought about his visit to Notre Dame, and to find out his future plans. Did the Irish impress Duncan?

Paul Duncan said he enjoyed his camp experience at Notre Dame. "It went pretty good," said Duncan. "I got to see the campus and meet the coaches. I really liked all the coaches. Coach Denbrok, I liked him a lot. He's a good guy."

Duncan made the trip with his parents. "They really liked it," said Duncan. "They aren't going to push me towards any school, but they really liked Notre Dame and the coaches there."

Duncan was offered by Notre Dame about a month ago, and has offers from teams like Florida, Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Clemson and North Carolina to name a few. "They sent my offer to me in the mail," he said. "I was real excited when that came."

Many speculated that Duncan might commit on his visit to Notre Dame. "I didn't commit," said Duncan. "I want to take my official visits before deciding. I liked it there a lot, but I want to check out some other schools first."

Does Duncan have any leaders at this point? "Yeah, Notre Dame is my leader, I also like Duke and LSU quite a bit. I've already been to Duke, and I'm going to see LSU on July 19th for an unofficial visit."

Comments: The Irish appear to be in good shape for Duncan. We do believe both Duke and LSU could be serious threats for his signature. We will check back with Duncan after his LSU visit to get his thoughts.
