Wilson Still Deciding

Akron, Ohio defensive end prospect Lawrence Wilson has already taken official visits to Notre Dame and Ohio State. The 6-5, 230-pound pass rusher says he might be done taking official visits. When will Wilson be deciding?

Irish Eyes caught up with defensive end Lawrence Wilson to check in on how his decision is coming. The talented Akron, Ohio native will likely decide between Notre Dame and Ohio State.

"I'm not sure I'll take a visit to Pittsburgh," said Wilson. "I don't think I will. I'll probably just decide between Notre Dame and Ohio State."

We asked Wilson what was holding up his decision between the two schools.

"I guess I'll know when I know," Wilson said. "I'm in no real hurry and I don't want to rush the decision. I'll just know when I know."

Wilson said he could be making his decision real soon.

"I plan to have it done in the next two weeks," he said. "I want to get it done before basketball."

We asked Wilson if he might take more unofficial visits to either school.

"I don't know, I might," he said. "I'm pretty busy, but I might make it to another game."

We also asked Wilson, without having to name a leader, if he had a school that was starting to stand above the other at this point.

"Not really," Wilson said. "They're pretty dead even. It pretty much changes every day. One day I'll think I want to go to Notre Dame, and the next it will be Ohio State. I keep going back and forth."

Comments: We think Lawrence has a ways to go on his decision. He didn't appear close to making his decision. We think the longer this goes, the better for Notre Dame. We'll keep checking back with Lawrence until he makes his final decision.
