Lansdale, Pa. running back R.C. Lagomarsino has had a solid senior season. The 6-0, 180-pound Lagomarsino has helped his Lansdale Catholic team to the playoffs. We spoke with the talented running back to get an update on his senior season and his recruiting schedule. Are the Irish still after Lagomarsino?

Running back R.C. Lagomarsino has had a solid senior season.

"Our team is 8-1 right now," Lagomarsino said. "I've had 159 carries for 1,350 yards and 20 touchdowns. I also have a 96-yard punt return for a touchdown. On defense I have 31 tackles and three fumble recoveries."

Lagomarsino has also started scheduling some official visits.

"I have a tenative visit set up with Northwestern. I think that's December 3rd," Lagomarsino said. "That will depend on my playoff schedule. I've also set a visit with Stanford for January 17th."

The talented running back says he has four scholarship offers at this point.

"Northwestern, Purdue, Pittsburgh and Towson have offered me," he said.

The Irish were recruiting Lagomarsino. However, the Notre Dame coaching staff appear to have lost interest recently.

"They were recruiting me," said Lagomarsino of the Irish. "I haven't heard from them for over a month. I guess they aren't interested in me any more. I was interested in Notre Dame, but I'm not going to get caught up in that now."

"I'll probably end up taking at least three to four visits," said Lagomarsino when asked when he might want to make a decision. "I might end up making my decision on signing day."

Comments: It appears the Irish have dropped Lagomarsino off their list. We'll check back in a while and see if their interest picks back up.
