Tight end James Dray had scheudled all five of his official visits.
"I have Stanford on Dec. 10th, Boston College on Dec. 17th, Tennessee January 4th, Florida State January 9th and Iowa January 21st," said Dray.
Dray was set with his top five until Notre Dame recently offered.
"They just offered me last week," said Dray. "It feels really good to get an offer from Notre Dame. I need to think things over and see what I'm going to do."
We asked Dray what he was thinking over at this point.
"I'm not sure, but I might switch a visit and visit Notre Dame," said Dray. "I need to think about that and decide what I want to do."
Dray said he's spoken with Irish tight end coach Mike Denbrock and had a good conversation.
"I talked to their tight end coach, he's a really good guy," said Dray of Denbrock. "He told me he really liked what he saw on my film and liked what I could do. He said he thought I could help them out a lot."
We asked Dray when he might decide if plans to visit Notre Dame.
"I'll probably know in a couple of weeks," he said. "I'm going to think about it and I should know soon."
Comments: Dray has always seemed interested in Notre Dame. He told Irish Eyes earlier in the process that the Irish were one of his top teams. Will the late offer get the Irish a visit? We'll check back soon.
