Trump Solid on Five Visits

Clearwater, Fla. offensive lineman A.J. Trump has helped his Central Catholic high school team to the playoffs. The 6-4, 290-pound Trump has also scheduled all five of his official visits, and claims a clear leader. What did Trump have to say about Notre Dame? Will Trump take all five of his official visits?

Offensive lineman A.J. Trump is still enjoying his senior season and has led his team to the playoffs.

"We made the playoffs," said Trump. "We've got our first playoff game this weekend against a very good team. Hopefully we can go far."

Trump has also set up all of his official visits.

"I'm going to Notre Dame Dec. 3rd, Miami Dec. 10th, South Florida Jan. 8th, Florida Jan. 16th and Florida State Jan. 23rd," said Trump.

The last time we spoke to Trump, he told us that Notre Dame was his leader, but Miami was starting to make a move up his list of favorites. We asked Trump if that was still the situation.

"I like Miami's offensive line coach," said Trump. "I really have to go down there and see what they have to offer since I've never been down there.

"But unless I'm totally awed by the place, I don't see my mind changing too much. Notre Dame is the clear leader and I don't see much changing that."

We asked Trump if he still planned to take all five of his official visits or if he might decide to make his decision early.

"It's a possibility that I could commit early without taking all five of my visits," he said. "I'm looking forward to my visits, but I'm not sure I'll need all of them. I could decide early.

"Notre Dame is less than a month a way and I'm really looking forward to that. I want to go to Miami and see what they have to offer. We'll see what happens. I've been ready to commit a number of times, but I just not quite ready to do that yet."

Comments: It's quite obvious the Irish are his clear leader, but anything can change on official visits. However, Trump seems pretty sold on the Irish at this point. Top Stories
