Defensive end Raymond Henderson has started setting up his official visits after ending his senior season.
"LSU is the only visit I've taken so far," said Henderson. "I'll be taking some visits in the next few weeks."
The Oak Creek, Wisc. native has set three more of his official visits.
"I'm leaving for Iowa on Friday," said Henderson. "I'm going to Tennessee the following weekend, and then I have Notre Dame December 3rd."
Henderson said he's not positive on his fifth visit at this point.<>"I think I'll probably take my last visit to Miami, but I'm not sure on that yet," he said.
Henderson had been saying that he wanted to go to the same school as teammate Travis Beckum. We asked Henderson if that was still the case.
"I'm not sure on that. It's something we've talked about," he said. "We are going together for the Tennessee visit next weekend. We might got to Miami together. We'll see what happens."
At this point, Henderson admits that one schools is standing out slightly above the others.
"I'd say LSU has the slight lead, but that's because I really had a chance to get a good look at them when I went down there on my visit. I thought I fit in well there, but I think I can fit in well anywhere."
We asked Henderson where the Irish stood on his list right now.
"They're right there with the three or four other teams. I like them all about the same," he said.
Henderson said he also has a plan in place as to when he'll announce his decision.
"I'm trying to get all my visits in so I can announce at the Army All-American Bowl," Henderson said. "I'm getting really excited about that. I started lifting again so I can show them what I'm all about."
Comments: Henderson seems wide open at this point. LSU does have the slight lead, but he seems open to all the schools he's interesed in. The Irish will have their shot on December 3rd. We likely won't know anything until after that weekend.
