Linebacker Steve Quinn came in on an official visit to Notre Dame this weekend. The 6-3, 215-pound linebacker had been committed to Penn State before his visit to South Bend this weekend.

"The visit wen't really well," Quinn said. "I enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked the players and the coaching staff. I enjoyed talking with coach Weis a lot."

We asked Quinn if he committed to Notre Dame on his visit.

"No, I didn't," he said. "I'm still deciding what I want to do. I'll decide in a couple of days."

We asked Steve if he planned to make an announcement with a press conference or if he just planned to call the coaches when he makes his decision.

"I'm not sure about that," he said. "I haven't even thought about that."

Quinn said he was about to board a plane and to check back later in the day for more on his visit.
