Parris Picks Irish

Rob Parris finalized his college intentions by calling Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis and making his pledge to the first year Irish head coach. Parris makes commitment no. 9 for the Irish.

The newest member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish is Rob Parris, WR, 6-4, 185-pounds, Cleveland, Ohio, (St. Ignatius).

"I made my commitment to Notre Dame," Parris said. "I spoke to coach Weis."

It's always nice to beat your arch-rival, in anything. Notre Dame won out over Michigan for Parris's services.

As the story grows, Parris was a Michigan fan growing up, but that's not the story he gave.

"Not really," he said. "I was just always Michigan when I played Play Station."

When it comes to the Parris family as whole, that is a totally different story.

"They're all ND fans," Parris commented. Top Stories
