Eliades Has Four Favorites

Oakhurst, N.J. offensive lineman Lou Eliades sure looks the part. At 6-4, 285 pounds, the Ocean Township high school star explodes into his man on film, and plenty of college coaches have been impressed enough with Eliades' skills to offer him a full scholarship. Are the Irish involved with this offensive line standout?

Offensive lineman Lou Eliades has plenty of suitors at this point in the recruiting process.

"I have 21 offers right now," he said. "Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and Syracuse are some of the schools."

But what about the Irish?

"They haven't offered me," Eliades said. "They send me stuff, but they haven't offered me."

Is Eliades interested in Notre Dame?

"Yeah, I'm interested," he said. "I'm starting to narrow down my list, but I'm interested.

"Right now Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Maryland are probably my top schools."

When will Eliades be making his decision?

"I'd like to make it by November," he said. "I'll probably take three or four official visits before deciding sometime during my season."

Eliades said everyone is recruiting him to play offensive line and that he plays offensive tackle for his Ocean Township high school team.

Comments: Eliades seemed interested in the Irish, but Notre Dame would have some ground to make up on his top four to have much of a chance. We think they'll have to offer soon to get into the race.
