McCoy Still Undecided

Gerald McCoy has so many options he is having a difficult time narrowing down his list of schools. He has circled a handful of games he would like to see in person this fall however.

Gerald McCoy, DT, 6-4, 280-pounds, Oklahoma City, Okla., (Southeast) is losing weight and preparing for football season like he should, now if he could only "lose" a few schools off of his long list of suitors.

"The other day I was thinking that all these reporters are going to be calling wanting my top five or top 10," McCoy said. "So I sat down and tried to come up with a list of schools to give them, but I'd be like ‘I like this school, but I like this school, too,'" he proclaimed. "I just couldn't do it."

At least McCoy is honest. He is having quite the time trying to figure out which schools stand out to him right now. He does have a list of schools he would like to see play this fall. It appears that McCoy has a desire to watch some of college football's biggest games first-hand.

"I'd like to go to the Florida State vs. Miami game, Tennessee vs. Georgia, Oklahoma vs. Texas, Virginia Tech…man, I can't remember who it is they play; and Notre Dame vs. Southern California. Now that's a big game right there."

McCoy has yet to set up any of his official visits, but that could be coming fairly soon.

"I'd like to take two of my official visits during the season," he proclaimed.

SMITTY'S TAKE - McCoy is a happy-go-lucky kind of young man. He has a hard time saying no to anyone really. Look for his decision to be announced on National Signing Day. Top Stories
