Notre Dame will be losing several it's playmakers after this season, and the only way the Irish will stay on top is if they continue to add quality athletes to their recruiting class. LaRon Moore is that type of athlete and he will be on his way to South Bend this weekend to see the Irish take on the USC Trojans.
"I'm leaving Saturday morning," Moore said. "I'm anxious to go up there and check everything out. I want to see how they (Notre Dame) compete against good teams and see the little things that they do.
"I'm flying and my parents are driving up. I have a game Friday night and they're going to leave at halftime and drive up to South Bend. "
Some people think the Trojans will handle the Irish with ease on Saturday, but most of the recruits attending the game on Saturday think the Irish will compete very well with USC, and Moore is no different.
"I think it will be a good game," Moore said of the pending contest between the Irish and Trojans. "From what I've seen teams have been able to be productive on offense against USC. Then it will come down to whether Notre Dame can slow down their offense."
LaRon's friend George West has already committed to the Irish, and there will be a lot of excitement surrounding the game this weekend, is there a chance Moore will join his friend as a member of Notre Dame's 2006 recruiting class before he leaves camps?
"No, I'm going to take some more visits before I commit anywhere," Moore responded "Right now I'm planning on visiting Stanford and Iowa State."
