Many colleges have stopped by Delbarton high school in Morristown NJ to see QB Mike Loree. Loree is 6-5 and 220 pounds. Last year, he threw for 1802 yards and 21 touchdowns with only five interceptions. He completed 96 passes on 173 attempts. His size and stats has colleges all over the country stopping by including Notre Dame.
"The only offer I have so far is Rutgers. Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State have called me. Miami, Stanford, Boston College, Michigan, Notre Dame, Maryland and Rutgers have come to my school." Loree also said there were a host of other schools lined up to stop by in the coming weeks.
"I am really wide open at this point. I don't have a favorite. Michigan, Virginia, Notre Dame, Boston College, Rutgers and Stanford are some of the schools I am most interested in." Mike did seem to be wide open. He didn't really seem to favor any one school over another and didn't talk particularly high on any of the schools listed.
Mike did say he had some travel plans for the summer. "I plan to go to a few camps. My team is attending the Boston College camp. I will likely then pick 2 or 3 other camps to stop by for a couple of days." I asked Mike if he knew which schools he would camp at. "Not really, I am kind of open to that. I am considering Michigan, Virginia and Notre Dame as well as other schools.
Loree is a great kid. Very open and honest. It appeared he was really wide open at this point. He didn't seem to be leaning to any one school. I do think he is waiting to see who offers. He did tell me he would wait and take his visits and he didn't think he would commit early to any school.
