Is WR Anthony Hill Staying Home?

WR Athony Hill is one of the top wide receivers in the country. The Jacksonville Florida wide receiver has received a lot of early attention and offers from some of the biggest names in college football.

Anthony Hill is a 6-3 200 pound wide receiver that has legit 4.5 speed. He had a productive year last year catching 66 balls for 814 yards and 6 touchdowns. He expects even bigger numbers this year.

Anthony has a host of offer so far from Florida, Florida State, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Purdue, Maryland, LSU, Tennessee and USC. He has heard from many others including Notre Dame.

The real question is will he leave the state of Florida. "I am not opposed to it. I really like Southern Cal because of the way they use their wide receivers. I like a lot of the Florida schools but I am not opposed to leaving the state."

Hill did admit that Florida and Florida State are high on his list because he has followed them all his life. "I do prefer a team that throws the ball a lot. I want to see how they use their wide receivers. They have to have good academics in my field of study which will be computer engineering." Hill does have a 2.7 core g.p.a. and he just missed qualifying on his first attempt with his A.C.T.

Right now, Anthony states his top 5 teams are Florida, Florida State, LSU, Tennessee and USC but he is open to anyone that wants to recruit him. He said he would likely make a late decision and take all of his visits.

Comments: Notre Dame rarely gets a player like this. If ND isn't up on his list early, it rarely works out that these players consider Notre Dame strongly. I know ND is going to recruit him but I am going to guess ND has little shot without a big effort in recruiting him.
