"I have scholarship offers from Purdue, Indiana and the MAC schools." Jeff Samardzija said. "I was pretty happy with the May evaluation period. Every school that I wanted to hear from either called me on the phone or came through the school.
"Notre Dame, Ohio State, Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin all came through the school and called. I'm looking to stay in the Midwest if possible.
"My new top five would be Purdue, Notre Dame, Michigan, Illinois and Ohio State."
Samardzija had 1,197 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. He averaged 12 yards per catch.
