Florida OL Has Narrowed His List

Another OL that Notre Dame is going to recruit is OC/OG Jordy Lipsey. It appears Notre Dame has a long way to go to gain his interest.

Jordy Lipsey is one of the top offensive linemen in Florida this year. The 6-4 272 pound center prospect play his ball for Lake Brantley high school in Altamonte Springs, FL. Jordy has over 20 offers so far.

"I really can't remember them all. Florida, FSU, Miami, Boston College, North Carolina, Virginia, Clemson, Auburn, Stanford and South Carolina are a few of them. Pretty much every school I wanted to offer me has. I don't see anyone that could offer that I would be interested in at this point."

Jordy said his family would like to stay in-state but that it would be his decision. "The distance isn't a big deal to me at all. My Mom would like me to stay closer to home but my Dad travels a lot so it's no big deal to him. I am just going where I feel the most comfortable."

Jordy said he plans to take all 5 of his visits. "I think the trips will help me. They will make it easy to decide. I just want to meet the coaches and the students and see where I feel the most comfortable."

Jordy said he does have a top 4 but hasn't ruled anyone out yet. Florida, Stanford, Miami and Northwestern are the schools he is most interested in.

Comments. Jordy didn't mention Notre Dame at all in this conversation. He seems pretty comfortable with the choices he has right now. I think he does want to narrow it down shortly. I don't see Notre Dame having much of a shot.
