Jonathan Loyte Is Excited About The Irish

Danvers, MA prospect Jonathan Loyte plays tight end and defensive end in high school. Most schools are recruiting him as an offensive tackle. Loyte has some offers and is waiting for one from Notre Dame as well.

Loyte said he plans to go to some camps or at least stop by some schools but he hasn't sat down with his Dad yet to talk it over with him to come up with a game plan. "I want to go see Notre Dame. I went to Boston College camp last year. They want me to come back but I think I would rather go see other schools since I have already been to Boston College."

Other schools Jonathan might visit are Maryland, Syracuse and Michigan State. Jonathan says right now his top schools would be Notre Dame, Boston College, Maryland, Michigan State, Stanford and Syracuse.

Loyte has taken care of his academics and has a 3.0 core g.p.a. and scored a 1030 on his SAT. I asked him what was important to him. "Education is very important to me. I want to feel very comfortable with the school, the coaches and the players and I would like to play early if possible."

Jonathan said that he will likely take all 5 visits and then decide on which school he wants to go to. He seemed to really be enjoying the recruiting process.

Comments. I think if Notre Dame offers Jonathan, they will be right at the top. A quality kid who would fit in very well at Notre Dame. If they offer, I think he will at least visit.
