Linebacker Waiting For Offer From Notre Dame

Notre Dame needs linebackers. I am going to guess they will take at least 4 in this recruiting class. One linebacker might be Kenesaw, GA prospect Tim Cesa. The 6-2 233 pound LB has been to Notre Dame camp, has been tested and is waiting for an offer from Notre Dame.

Tim Cesa played outside linebacker last year. He is being recruited as a middle or "Mike" linebacker by most schools. He had 80 tackles, 3 interceptions (2 returned for TDs) and 6 sacks last year.

I asked Tim about recruiting, his offers and camp. "I have offers from Boston College, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Indiana and North Carolina. Notre Dame, West Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia are also very interested as well. Pretty much all the schools in the south have been writing me on a regular basis.

Tim went to Notre Dame's camp for one day. Here is what he had to say. "It went very well. I tested very well. I went through some practice sessions and drills. Coach Willingham told me that he wanted me to know he has a very sincere interest in me and not to worry about an offer at this time. The offer will come."

I asked Tim about his interest in Notre Dame. "I am just waiting for Notre Dame to offer. They are my #1 school and always have been. I want to make a decision before September 1st. I might have to wait though. I like the others schools that have offered me as well but I have always wanted to go to Notre Dame."

Comments. Tim has a 3.8 and a 1180 SAT so he is good to go. What a great guy. I sure hope he gets his offer from Notre Dame. I know ND is very interested. You want a player like this that is excited about Notre Dame.
