Linebacker Dias Has Some Impressive Offers

Notre Dame is in need of linebackers. I am not sure why the top prospects are not interested in Notre Dame. Hackensack, NJ's Jermaine Dias would fit the bill. Is he interested in Notre Dame.

Jermaine Dias is 6-2 and 215 pounds. He plays defensive end in high school but most schools are recruiting him as a linebacker. He had 64 tackles, 12 sacks and 23 tackles for loss last year.

"I can't remember them all but I have offers from Miami, Rutgers, Boston College, Virginia, Iowa, Maryland, Syracuse, West Virginia, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Michigan, Duke, Wake Forrest and Vanderbilt. Right now, I am most interested in Virginia, Boston College, Michigan and Maryland."

Jermaine said he has heard from a lot of schools. When asked about Notre Dame, he had this to say. "I have a slight interest in them. They haven't offered me." I am not sure it will make much difference if Notre Dame does offer Jermaine.

Dias has a 2.6 core and an 850 SAT so far. He said he plans to take all his visits and then decide.

Comments. Jermaine is a player that Notre Dame is going to recruit. He just doesn't appear to have much interest in them at this point. I hope Notre Dame can start to change some minds of these top linebackers.
