Irish Offer Stephens

If you're looking for great high school running backs, Texas is going to be one of the first states you're going look for talent. The Irish need one, and they recently extended a scholarship offer to Bradley Stephens of McAllen Memorial high school (Texas) despite his oral commitment to Texas A&M.

Bradley Stephens (5-10 190-pounds) has a wealth of talent but he also gave his commitment to Texas A&M in February. Irish Eyes spoke with his father and learned the Irish coaching staff extended his son, Bradley a scholarship offer.

"We received a scholarship offer from Notre Dame in the mail," explained Craig Stephens, Bradley's father. "He's very flattered. Notre Dame has a lot to offer. They have great academics, tradition and coach Weis is a great coach, but Bradley is 100% committed to Texas A&M."

As a junior Stephens rushed for 2,638 yards and 39 touchdowns on 244 carries.
