Keeping busy isn't real difficult for Lee Ziemba (6-6, 285-pounds). He has all the normal distractions that a high school senior has. He also has a bunch of college recruiters and recruiting analysts trying to get ten minutes of his time.
"It's been busy," Ziemba responded when asked about his summer. "I've been working, working out and trying to stay in shape. I've been running 110's this summer with our quarterback, Cody Kirby. They're tough we've done ten. I'd like to be able to do 15 by the start of practice.
"I've been keeping in touch with [Notre Dame] about once a week. Coach Latina is recruiting me, but I still talk to coach Haywood."
It won't be long before Ziemba and his teammates begin practice. Knowing his time will be limited, Lee would like to have his list of schools he'll visit officially set.
"I still haven't decided where I'm going on my official visits yet, we're still working on that," Ziemba explained. "It's tough because you only get five visits and you'd like to see everything.
"Notre Dame will probably be one of them, but I'm not sure yet," he said.
Ziemba did make an unofficial visit to Notre Dame for the spring game, but if the Irish want to sign Lee, they'll need to get him back on campus. Although he isn't certain of his five official visits, Lee will make two addition unofficial visits before the start of his season.
"I'll probably go to Oklahoma and Auburn," Ziemba said of his summer travel plans. "We don't have an off week in our schedule, so I'll probably won't be able to take any of my visits during the season.
