Westchester (Ohio) Lakota East defensive lineman Brandon Maupin is amongst the most sought after prospects in the entire country.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound, defensive tackle has more than 30 scholarship offers and he has managed to narrow that list down to eight schools.
"Ohio State, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Miami, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Michigan State and Notre Dame are my favorites." Maupin said.
"I don't have any official visits set up yet and I don't have a leader right now. I'll take my visits after the season and make a decision."
Maupin had 78 tackles as a junior. He'll be a three-year varsity letterman in 2002. Brandon was named all-league as a junior.
He camped at Tennessee, Notre Dame and Ohio State this summer.
