Smith makes another visit to ND

Notre Dame fans are hoping that Harrison Smith of Knoxville Catholic high school (Tenn.) becomes a fixture on the Irish sidelines in the future. Scout.com's No 39 rated safety attended his third game in Notre Dame Stadium the past weekend.

Harrison Smith (6-foot-3, 215 pounds) had planned on making his college decision a couple months ago, and if he had it likely wouldn't have been good news for Notre Dame. Smith still doesn't have a clear leader so he made another trip to South Bend to watch Notre Dame take on Stanford.

"I just wanted to go back," Smith explained of his decision to visit Notre Dame. "Sometimes you don't always get to take everything in on one visit, although this was my fourth visit. I just wanted to get more comfortable. I've already been over to Tennessee a bunch of times, so it kind of seems unfair to go over there more.

"I like Notre Dame a lot. I think I'm going to go back and visit Tennessee and see what happens. I think I'm going to go to the Alabama game. I'm not sure if I'm going to take an official for that game, because I have a lot of family coming in for that game. I might take my official visit for the LSU game or December 10, I'm not sure about that.

"I really like both schools a lot and I know it will be a tough decision," he added.

Although Notre Dame and Tennessee are Harrison's two favorite schools, he will visit two other schools just to see what they have to offer.

"I'm still going to Auburn this weekend for the Florida Game," He said. "It will be a great game. I'm going to Alabama for the Auburn game. I've never been there and I hear that's a great game."
