One more visit for Benn's No.1 ranked wide receiver prospect, Arrelious Benn of Dunbar high school (Washington, D.C.) will likely make his college decision within a month. He's visited three of his top schools and he will make his final official visit this weekend.

Arrelious Benn (6-foot-2, 190 pounds) would probably like to be just another guy at times, but being one of the top recruits in the nation brings a huge spotlight.

"I'm doing pretty good," Benn responded when asked about his recruitment. "I've kind of put recruiting to the side. I'm just focusing on school and my football season.

"Our season is going good, we're 5-1. We have three games and then the playoffs. I have about 30 catches, 500 yards and six touchdowns."

Benn made official visits to Notre Dame and Illinois in September, and he just returned from his third official visit.

"It went good," Benn said of his official visit to Florida State. "I saw a lot of things that I liked. I liked the tradition. They need depth at receiver. I liked the social life. They're having a tough season, but they won't be losing games for long."

Notre Dame has slipped from what appeared to be a strong position earlier in the year, but Benn is still considering the Irish.

"They're doing okay," Benn replied when asked where Notre Dame stood in relation to the other schools he is considering. "I still like Notre Dame."

Arrelious plans to visit Maryland this weekend and then announce his decision within a couple weeks. He maintains that Illinois, Maryland, Florida State and Notre Dame are even at this time. Top Stories
