Dave Shinskie, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound, quarterback from Mt. Carmel (Pa.) Area will be a prospect to watch in 2002.
Shinskie will be a four-year varsity starter and he's led his team to three straight play-off appearances including two state championship games the past three years.
"Iowa, Indiana and Temple have offered me a scholarship." Shinskie said. "Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Michigan are my favorites.
"I camped at Notre Dame, Michigan, Maryland, Virginia and Penn State this summer. I don't have a leader right now."
Shinskie threw for 1,800 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2001. He was named all-area at the quarterback position and was named 3rd team all-state as a punter.
Shinskie has set up his first official visit. He'll visit Iowa on December 13th.
