Irish Prospects Invade San Antonio

The Army All-American Bowl should produce quite a bit of fireworks for Irish fans both on and off the field. We'll be there throughout the entire process bringing Irish Eyes customers all the latest from the top Notre Dame prospects participating in the game.

Notre Dame currently has eight committed players participating in the game so far, and has as many as 10 more prospects that are on the radar playing in this game. To say this is a big week for the future of Notre Dame football is an understatement.

It appears most of the committed players will be on the East roster, but a number of key prospects are also on the West roster including current Irish commitment Jimmy Clausen.

Other Irish commitments participating for the East are corner Gary Gray, receiver Duvall Kamara, receiver Greg Little, linebacker Aaron Nagel and defensive end Justin Trattou. Both tight end Mike Ragone and running back Armando Allen also made the roster, but both will have to sit out due to injury but are expected to be in San Antonio all week.

Irish fans will also be curious about former Irish prospects like Arrelious Benn, James Wilson, Marcus Gilchrist, Joseph Barksdale and a whole host of other top prospects also participating in the game. Below is a link to the full roster for each team for the game.

The players will arrive on Sunday and hold their first practices of the week on Monday. We should have our first interviews with these prospects uploading onto the front page of Irish Eyes on Sunday. For a full schedule of events happening during the week, please click on the link below.

Bowl practice and interview schedule

Irish Eyes will be there at every practice and every interview session bringing you all the latest happenings from both the field and in the media room after practice.

But it's the commitments that people really want to know about, and we'll be chasing all these storylines all week as well.

Five-star linebacker Chris Donald is expected to announce at the game between Notre Dame and Tennessee. Four-star defensive end Ben Martin will also likely announce during the game between the Irish, Ohio State, Florida and Tennessee.

Four-star offensive linemen Matt Romine is said to be choosing between Notre Dame and Oklahoma most likely. Fellow four-star lineman Matt Summers-Gavin is also announcing between Notre Dame and Cal.

Four-star running back Robert Hughes will be announcing his decision between Notre Dame and Illinois, and four-star safety prospect Lorenzo Edwards will likely make his college destination known when choosing between Notre Dame, Michigan and Florida.

Four-star safety prospect Michael Williams is also expected to pick between Notre Dame and Michigan, but Irish fans probably shouldn't get overly excited about this decision as most feel he'll choose Michigan.

Irish fans could also find out the final destination for four-star offensive lineman Chris Little, who could make his college choice public between a host of schools including Notre Dame, Florida State, Georgia and Clemson.

We'll also host a number of radio shows during the week on our popular Irish Eyes Power Hour radio show. We'll have the schedule for those broadcasts posted on the front page of Irisheyes.com.
