Robinson Making Spring Visits

Notre Dame is dong a great job of recruiting offensive lineman. They already have commitments from two of their top targets, but Notre Dame still needs to add at least two more. Trevor Robinson from Elkhorn High School (Neb.) is one of Notre Dame's recruiting priorities and he is making another stop in South Bend this weekend.

Trevor Robinson (6-foot-5 ,300 pounds) was the first offensive lineman offered a scholarship in the 2008 recruiting class, which means that he's one of the Notre Dame staffs top recruiting targets. Trevor made it to both Irish junior days and he will now travel to Notre Dame to take in a spring practice.

"I'm going to get to South Bend late Thursday night and then go to spring practice the following Friday," Robinson responded when asked about his plans to visit Notre Dame. "When I get there on Friday morning, I'm going to look at the dorms, I'll look at where the students eat; I'll kind of get an idea of what their normal day is like for a student.

"I've already seen things from the football side. I want to get a feel for more of what campus life would be like...and get a feel for what I'd be doing every day. Then we'll get a chance to watch them practice."

Robinson isn't going to stop his travels there. After watching the Irish practice, he'll head north to Ann Arbor, Mich.

"I'll try to get to Michigan Friday night," Robinson said. "They're having a practice and part of a scrimmage on Saturday that we'll be able to see. I've been to camp there, but I haven't been there since. I think it was my fifth camp in eight days, so all I really cared about at that point was getting back home.

"I want to meet the coaches and see everything Michigan has to offer. When you're considering the schools that I am, they all have facilities. They all have the academics. It's just getting comfortable with the school. I just don't know a whole lot about Michigan compared to Notre Dame and Nebraska. " Top Stories
