Baker set to visit Notre Dame

Lewis Baker has had a good start to his season. He sat out the last one and a half games with a stinger injury but he should be ready to go by his next game. Lewis is also starting to narrow down his list of favorites and has scheduled a visit to Notre Dame.

Lewis Baker has had a nice start to the season. He is playing both wide receiver and linebacker this year. In his first game, he had a 35 yard touchdown catch with 18 tackles. In his second game, he had a 62 yard reception for a TD and 9 tackles. In his third game, he played about a half and had 7-8 tackles before leaving with a stinger injury.

"I had a stinger injury that has limited me. I had to have ultrasound done but I should be set to go by the next game. I have a visit set for Notre Dame on December 6th. That is my only visit scheduled so far."

Baker says he is narrowing down his list. "I know I will visit Oklahoma and Vanderbilt. I think I will take my other two visits but I am not sure on that. I don't know who the other visits might be. I will probably wait to set those up. I might just take the three but I think I want to take all 5. It all depends on what happens on my other visits."

Lewis has been catching some games during the season and plans to head to the SMU game this weekend. He also plans to attend the Texas/OU rival game as well. Baker was also nominated with teammate Ian Yates-Cunningham for the Army All-American bowl and made the All-Star Coca Cola bowl in Texas. "You get nominated for the Army game. I think there are 400 that get nominated and then 76 get to actually play in the game."

Baker says he still has his two favorites as well. "I still like Notre Dame and Oklahoma the best right now but that might change with my visits."

Comments. This should be interesting. He will visit on December 6th and Notre Dame doesn't have many slots left for LB. I think Notre Dame will take any of Lewis Baker , Wesley Jefferson, Mitchell Thomas or Thomas Williams that might want to commit. This should be a fun race to watch.
