A prospect on the East Coast who's stock is on a steady rise is 5-foot-11, 185-pound, running back Brandon Nolen.
Nolen preps at Old Bridge High School in Old Bride, New Jersey. We caught up with Old Bridge head coach Robert DeMarco and he had this to say about his talented athlete.
"Brandon is a terrific football player," DeMarco said. "He's been a three-year varsity starter for us and he's rushed for more than a 1,000 yards the past couple of years.
"What makes Brandon so good is his vision and his cutting ability. He could make people miss and he has 10.7 speed in the 100-meters.
"Brandon is a true college tailback but I also think he could play defensive back.
"Right now he has a visit set up with Wisconsin for December 13th. Wisconsin has offered and so has Clemson, Indiana, Purdue, California, Wake Forest and Rutgers.
"Notre Dame said they were going to offer as soon as he gets his academics cleared. He's (Nolen) a full qualifier so I don't see any problems with him getting accepted."
We'll have comments from Brandon Nolen in the very near future.
