California LB has visits set

Vacaville, CA prospect Thomas Williams is having a pretty good year on the football field. He is also having a great year in recruiting. Williams has set most of his visits already and seems excited to go see his schools.

"I am having a pretty good year so far. My team is 4-1 right now. I have 60 tackles and 8 sacks so far. They have been playing me mostly at outside linebacker but they do move me inside at times."

Thomas has 7 offers so far. "I have an offer from USC, UCLA, Oregon State, Washington, UNLV, Nebraska and a pending offer from Notre Dame. I narrowed my list down early and told other schools I wasn't interested so it probably limited my offers a little but I am very happy with the offers I have right now."

Thomas has scheduled 4 vists so far. "I visit Notre Dame on December 6th. I visit Nebraska December 20th. I then have USC on January 10th and UCLA on January 17th. I leave on December 30th for the Army All-American game. That game is played on January 5th and I am really looking forward to playing in that."

Thomas does have a couple of leaders right now. "Usc and Notre Dame would be my leaders. USC has shown the most interest so far. They have been playing great defense. I like Notre Dame because of their education and their tradition. Coach Willingham has done a great job so far but I don't know much about them right now. The visit should give me a much better idea of Notre Dame."

Comments. For such a mean looking player, Thomas is one heck of a nice guy. His stats are pretty impressive and both LA schools have offered. I hope Notre Dame takes a serious look at Thomas. He would fit in very well at Notre Dame. Top Stories
