Irish Eyes Video: James Hurst

SAN ANTONIO - James Hurst was one of the many talented players in Texas for Friday's National Underclassmen Combine, a showcase for some of the nation's top juniors.

The four-star Hurst, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive tackle from Plainfield, Ind., looked dominant in one-on-one drills, showing why he already holds scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Stanford, Purdue, Michigan State, North Carolina, Indiana, Duke Kentucky and Mississippi State, where his brother Nelson finished the season as a freshman tight end.

Inside the Alamo Dome, Irish Eyes caught up with Hurst to talk about Notre Dame, the recruiting process, when he might make a decision, and about making another trip up to South Bend. Hurst attended the Irish's camp, and also was in the stands for the Purdue game.
