Harrison Smith: video

How good can Harrison Smith be? In his first year of game action, he played linebacker for the first time and led the defense in tackles for loss, tied for the team lead in sacks, and was fourth on the team in total tackles.

Harrison Smith didn't like the idea of playing linebacker when he was being recruited, but in his second season at Notre Dame, that's where he found himself. Smith responded by becoming one of the biggest playmakers on defense. In 2009 Smith will move back to safety and he discusses the switch with IrishEyes.
