Linder has "a blast"

Notre Dame is still looking for several offensive linemen to add to the 2010 recruiting class. Brandon Linder from St. Thomas Aquinas High School (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) is one of their top recruiting targets and he was in town last weekend on an official visit.

Notre Dame has one offensive lineman committed, but they certainly will need to add at least two additional prospects. Brandon Linder (6-foot-6, 290-pounds) was in town last weekend to see the Irish take on the USC Trojans.

"It was a lot of fun," Linder said of his visit. "It was great. Also meeting some of the players was a blast, so it was good. It was a great experience. The atmosphere was really good. I really enjoyed it. It definitely helped them out.

"We went through everything with the players before the game and then went to the game. It was fun. It was a great experience. I was hanging out with Blake Lueders. He was really cool. My host was Trevor Robinson. He was just explaining everything about coach Verducci. It was real cool what he was explaining. After the game, we went to dinner and chilled out."

Before leaving town, Linder met with the Notre Dame coaches.

"I met with coach Weis and coach Verducci," Linder explained. "We were just talking about regular stuff. I told them that I'd stay in touch.

"I'm just going to talk things over with my dad and see what happens from here. I'm just going to feel things out and go from there."
