Like fellow commitment Derek Roback, the Notre Dame coaches just want to get Danny Spond on campus and then they'll find a place for him. IrishEyes comfirmed with Columbine head coach Andy Lowry that Spond committed to Notre Dame.
"Yes he did. I just confirmed it with him," Lowry said when reached by phone on Monday."He's a great athlete and they'd liked to just get him on campus and see where he can help them out. He could play on offense or defense."
Spond is the fourth recruit from the list of visitors to have committed to Notre Dame and the 21st commitment for Irish head coach Brian Kelly.
