Aaron Green (5-foot-9, 175-ppounds) had a scholarship offer from Charlie Weis and former Notre Dame coaching staff, but since the Irish made a coaching change, Green hasn't heard much from the Irish.
"I really haven't been checking my mail lately, but I haven't talked to the new staff yet," Green replied when asked about his contact with the new Notre Dame coaching staff. "I haven't talked to them at all recently. I'm still keeping things open for them to see if they're still interested, even though I haven't heard from them in awhile."
Green is going to keep an open mind when it comes to recruiting, but there are a handful of schools that are showing him more attention than the rest.
"Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Cal have been on me pretty hard, Green explained. "I'll probably be open to everybody until the day I commit and that will probably be sometime next year. I could commit earlier, but I'm not expecting to though."
