"Everything Was Great"

The Notre Dame coaching staff was hoping to make a strong impression on the junior day attendees Saturday and if Albert Louis-Jean's experience is any indication the staff accomplished their goal. The cornerback from Brockton High School (Mass.) came away from his trip to Notre Dame impressed with everything Notre Dame has to offer.

Albert Louis-Jean (6-foot-1, 170-pounds) wasn't sure what he expected from his unofficial visit on Saturday, but he certainly came away impressed with what he experienced.

"The junior day was great," Louis-Jean said. "The campus was great, it's a great school, and it has great tradition. I wasn't expecting it to be the way it was. The whole time I was shocked, it was better than I thought it would be. It's a great school. It was great to see everything that they have to offer. The stadium and the locker room were great. Everything was great. There wasn't any one thing that stood out… everything stood out.

"I spoke with coach Kelly, coach Diaco and coach Martin. They told me why Notre Dame would be a good fit for me and what it had to offer. They said that they had a 98 percent graduation rate. They said that the combination of football and academics was the best in the country. They plan on winning a national championship in the near future.

Although Louis-Jean was impressed with Notre Dame, he still wants to see what others schools have to offer. Next week he'll be on spring break and he intends to take a trip south to see a few more programs.

"Right now I'm just trying to get to know them more. I've seen everything that I needed to see from Notre Dame," Albert explained. "I'm going to take the process slow, and go to a few more schools and see what I think of other schools. Next weekend I'll be at Florida and Miami. After that I'm not sure where I'll go."
