Hardy Gives The Latest On Irish

Ohio safety prospect has the Irish high on his list. What is the latest on his involvement with Notre Dame? We get the latest.

Eilar Hardy took in Notre Dame's junior day a few weeks back and came away very impressed with what he saw. The problem for the Pickerington (Ohio) Central product is that he didn't see enough.

"Notre Dame is still one of my top schools. When I was there the last time I didn't get to see enough. I got a chance to see the facilities, and they are great. But I want to get up there and see more of the campus and look around and see how I'd fit in there socially."

At 6-foot-0, 170-pounds, Hardy is capable of playing safety or corner at the college level. He's recently picked up scholarship offers from Boston College, Kentucky and Arizona to go with his ever growing list of programs in the Midwest.

When will Hardy make a return visit?

"I'm hoping to visit some schools in the next two weeks but I'm not sure if Notre Dame will be one of them this time around."

Irish Eyes will continue to follow Hardy in the coming weeks as his recruiting continues.
