Andre Revels is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio who played his high school ball at Colerain High School. It was at Colerain that Revels showed the ability to take his game to another level. During his prep career, Revels posted 368 total tackles, 8 sacks and 6 interceptions. He then signed to attend the University of Cincinnati when Mark Dantonio offered him a scholarship. Revels was a three year letter winner at Cincinnati under Brian Kelly (2006-2009) and posted 109 total tackles during his senior season as the Bearcats went 12-1. Revels earned Sporting News All-American honors (3rd team) in 2009.

Because of a knee injury, Revels retired from football after his college career and now is employed by Northwestern Mutual Financial Network where he's an agent of life insurance and disability income insurance.
