Anthony Zettel may have opened up some eyes with his performance at the Notre Dame Linemen Challenge.
The Notre Dame
coaching staff got a great turnout for their Linemen Drills and Challenge on Saturday. With players from across the Midwest, the offensive and defensive line coaches of the Irish ran players through drills in the first session on the LaBar Practice fields only to end the afternoon with a challenge pitting groups of linemen against each other in relay races, wheel barrow races, football obstacle course, giant tire flipping and tug-of-war.
When all was said and done the West Branch (MI) Ogemaw Heights walked away with some hardware as one of the top performers.
Zettel, who stands 6-foot-4, 255-pounds, excelled all day and gained the praises of the coaches running the camp.
Will Zettel earn an offer from Notre Dame? That will be a question Irish Eyes will be checking with Zettel about in the coming days.
