Foster A Monster Safety

One of the more impressive players during the first week of Ohio High School football is Ronzell Foster. The safety is what many term a "Monster" safety.

At 6-foot-3, 205-pounds, Ronzell Foster is a monster of a player for Cincinnati (Ohio) Anderson High School. His play on the field is just as impressive as the future college player makes plays against the run and pass.

Ronzell Foster may be a little raw, but his instincts and feel for the game look to come natural. He has great size and the speed you look for in a player to play at a high level. While he is an excellent athlete, I do not see a cornerback but a major safety ready and willing to hit anything that comes his way.

Despite his size, Foster shows great range, closes on the ball, and receiver quickly. Nevertheless, what sets him apart is the ability to go in the air and make plays on the ball. Foster is not just a hitter, but also a threat to take the ball away before it reaches receivers hands.

A sure tackler, Foster is just starting to learn how good of a player he can be. The future is bright and by the time spring evaluations and the combine and camp circuit come around do not be surprised if he already holds several verbal offers. Top Stories
