Kenny Hayes In Action

Toledo Whitmer senior defensive end Kenny Hayes was the first commit in the Ohio State 2011 recruiting class, pledging to the Buckeyes in the fall of 2009. Hayes, a four-star recruit, is ranked as one of the top prospects in both Ohio and the Midwest. Bill Greene was on hand for Whitmer's game against Toledo Central Catholic and posted these clips of Hayes in action.

PROFILE: Ken Hayes

SCHOOL: Toledo Whitmer

CLASS: Senior

POSITION: Defensive end

SIZE: 6-foot-5, 245-pounds

RECRUITING: Committed to Ohio State

SUMMARY: Hayes was not too involved in the action against Central Catholic, as they ran away from him in running downs, and double-teamed him in passing situations. Number 50 in red is Illinois commit Chris Boles, who had a fine night. Hayes' speed and athleticism was most impressive, but like most big men, he needs to play lower and use his hands better.
