Northmont High School in Clayton, OH is going to have at least seven players who will get serious looks from Division I colleges this year. One of those is WR Romunn Grigsby.
Grigsby lists his height and weight at 6-4, 180, and says he usually runs in the low 4.5s and ran 4.47 once. He will be well-prepared for college as his coach Lance Schneider is an excellent, experienced coach.
"My coach has been a great help," Grigsby said. "He's helped me learn about running patterns."
Romunn is showing interest in Ohio State as well as other schools.
"I was going to go up to OSU this past weekend but I had a basketball game," he said. "I was there for junior day (the first one).
He plans on attending the Nike Camp in Ann Arbor and also plans to camp at Michigan State and Marshall. The Spartans are one team that is very interested.
"Michigan State, Iowa and UCLA have been contacting the most (some handwritten letters)," he said. "Michigan State is my favorite."
Romunn, who lists his favorite player as Terrell Owens and lists his major as computer science, knows what he is looking for in a school.
"It's pretty straightforward – tradition, coach and playing time," he said.
Romunn is in no hurry to make a final decision.
"I'm probably going to wait until midseason or so," he said. "I want to look at all my options."
