A special Ohio State men's basketball season ended earlier than expected Friday night when the top- seeded Buckeyes fell in the East regional semifinal to No. 4 Kentucky. The e-mails Jim Tressel received from former Ohio State football player Chris Cicero informing the coach that some of his players had sold memorabilia for free tattoos were in fact forwarded to someone. According to the Columbus Dispatch, Tressel did not forward the e-mails to the compliance office, athletic director Gene Smith or president E. Gordon Gee. The information was forwarded to Jeannette, Pa., businessman Ted Sarniak.
