Nearly every NFL team was in attendance Wednesday afternoon as Ohio State defensive lineman Cameron Heyward took part in his Pro Day in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Heyward didn't work out earlier this month because of an injury, but he was feeling good when talking to the media after yesterday's workout.
Representatives of more than 20 NFL teams, including OSU alum Dick LeBeau of the Pittsburgh Steelers
, were on hand Wednesday afternoon at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center to watch Ohio State
defensive end Cameron Heyward
take part in his Pro Day drills.
Heyward didn't bench press as he continues to rehab from postseason arm surgery, talked about his day as well as NFL teams' questions about his late father, Craig, a one-time NFL standout at running back.
When asked if he thought he was good enough to be a first-round pick, Heyward said, "Yes, I do. Even with the injury ... you can look back on my tape and say I'm a first-round pick."
