Recruiting Updates - Bob Miller, Darryl Clark

Willoughby (OH) South LB Bob Miller has been down in Columbus a lot lately. "I came down to Ohio State; the visit went really good," he said. "I met Coach Tressel. I went to both the spring game and the kicking scrimmage."

"I am being recruited as a linebacker only. I cancelled Indiana although I am still thinking of going over there and taking a look."

"I'm going to be going to Virginia Tech Nike on May 17th. My weight's about 243 right now. I'm now being recruited (for OSU) by (DB coach) Mel Tucker; I was being recruited by (OL coach/Off. coordinator) Jim Bollman."

Meanwhile, Youngstown Ursuline QB Darryl Clark is getting his schedule for the summer set up.

"I didn't go to the Nike Camp," he said. "I went to the Penn State spring game."

"(This summer) I plan on doing one day at Toledo, the quarterback camp at Pitt, and the Ohio State camp."

Clark decided not to go out for track this year and is focusing on the weight room.

"I've been out throwing the ball a little bit," he said. "Mostly I've been working with weights."

A few schools are really starting to pick up the interest as he has been receiving hand-written letters and also got his first offer.

"I was recently offered by Indiana," he said.
