Buckeyes Pick Up WR Commit

The Ohio State football team stormed back to achieve a 33-29 win over No. 12 Wisconsin on Saturday night. Sunday they got more big news when a silent commitment decided to make his choice public. Get the full story inside.

The Ohio State football team has had its second commitment from Fork Union Military Academy for quite some time, but wide receiver Mike Thomas felt the time was right Sunday to make his decision public.

After visiting Ohio State for the Buckeyes' 33-29 win over No. 12 Wisconsin, Thomas confirmed with BSB that he will be a part of Ohio State's 2012 class.

"I have been a silent commit for quite some time now due to all the allegations and stuff," Thomas said. "But after last night it is safe to say I am a Buckeye. Last night kind of sealed the deal."

Ranked as the No. 98 wide receiver in Scout.com's 2011 class, the 6-4, 203-pound Thomas has roomed with fellow Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones at Fork Union for the past three months.

"It is very exciting (to join Cardale) at Ohio State even though we have been planning on joining each other in Columbus since we first met," Thomas said.
