A true outside receiver because of his size and physical style of play, Ferguson runs good routes and can make a lot of plays in traffic. He lacks speed to separate but brings a lot to the table as a prospect. He is committed to Notre Dame.
42. Shakeel Rashad, LB, 6-1/215/Episcopal
With ideal size and very good athleticism, Rashad dominated small school competition in Jacksonville the last few seasons. He is a smart player who doesn't always play up to his physical talents but is one of the area's top prospects. He is a North Carolina commitment.
43. Eric Striker, OLB, 6-1/195/Armwood
Playing mostly off the edge in high school, Striker was often the best player on a very good Armwood defense. He made a lot of plays in the backfield but has shown at various camps and combines the ability to drop in coverage. He is committed to Oklahoma.
44. Tion Green, RB, 6-0/190/Lake Brantley
This kid was born to play football. He played quarterback as a junior and had a good season. He showed the ability to play cornerback and wide receiver at various camps during the offseason. And then he went for close to 2,000 yards as a senior at running back. Green is committed to Cincinnati.
45. Sean Price, TE, 6-4/225/North Marion
One of two very talented pass-catchers at North Marion this season, Price played a lot of receiver and a lot of tight end. He is arguably the state's top pass-catching tight end prospect this year. He is committed to South Florida.
46. Ty Darlington, C, 6-3/275/Apopka
The son of a longtime coach, Darlington flat out knows how to play the game. He understands the game very well and plays with good technique. He's a strong kid who plays with great effort. A pure center prospect, Darlington committed early to Oklahoma.
47. Ricquan Southward, WR, 6-1/190/Lakeland
Sort of a late bloomer on the recruiting front, Southward didn't make many plays until his senior season when he became one of the top receivers in all of central Florida. He has a nice size/speed combination and comes from a premier program. He is committed to Ohio State.
48. Dwayne Hoilett, DE, 6-3/225/Vero Beach
A very talented edge pass rusher, Hoilett has experience playing both defensive end and outside linebacker in high school. He made a lot of plays at the prep level, thanks to plus athleticism and a very good motor that never seems to stop. Hoilett, who projects as a defensive end in college, is committed to Miami.
49. James Hamilton, OG, 6-3/335/Olympia
One of the state's top two-way linemen, Hamilton is a massive offensive guard prospect who mauls defenders once he gets his hands on them. He also plays defensive tackle at times and has the athleticism to be a solid nose guard prospect. He's committed to USF as a DT but will likely end up on offense.
50. Gary Simon, S, 6-1/180/Gibbs
One of the top defensive players in the Tampa/St Pete area, Simon has played both cornerback and safety in college. He has ideal size and athleticism and made a lot of plays at the prep level. He is not yet committed anywhere.
