Under Meyer's leadership, Ohio State has added eight players, with seven being ranked as either a four or five-star prospect. Currently, Ohio State has the number-three ranked class in America. Who is left on the Buckeye recruiting board?
Stefon Diggs: One of the highest-rated prospects in the country, Diggs is supposed to visit Ohio State Saturday afternoon, and stay until mid-Sunday. With that visit Ohio State has a shot, although Florida would seem to be the favorite. DECISION DATE: Looking like a February 11th decision date, after a visit to Maryland.
Demetrious Cox: The four-star safety still has a weekend visit to take, and is listing a number of schools still in the mix. Ohio State and Michigan State are thought to be in the lead, but several others are lurking. DECISION DATE: Should be announced on or near Signing Day.
Armani Reeves: The four-star cornerback is down to two schools, Ohio State and Michigan. Will having his good friend, Camren Williams, already committed to Ohio State tilt things toward the Buckeyes? DECISION DATE: Should be a decision forthcoming this weekend.
Kyle Dodson: The four-star Cleveland Heights offensive tackle has been committed to Wisconsin for a long time, but has taken all five visits. Will Urban Meyer be able to keep Dodson at home? DECISION DATE: Should be announced on Signing Day.
Jamal Marcus: The North Carolina three-star linebacker is now down to two schools, Ohio State and East Carolina. Do those two finalists makes sense? Not at all. DECISION DATE: A National Signing Day decision.
Davonte' Neal: The four-star athlete still has visits remaining, with North Carolina and Arizona. Ohio State has been high on his list for a while, with Notre Dame, and this is a tough one to call. DECISION DATE: Looks like a mid-February decision.
Joel Caleb: The four-star wide receiver was the first visitor of the Meyer era, even though that seems like eons ago. Would seem to be favoring Virginia Tech, or possibly West Virginia, but Ohio State is listed as a favorite. DECISION DATE: Will announce on National Signing Day.
Bam Bradley: The three-star safety out of Trotwood-Madison was thought to be an Ohio State commit earlier, and was expected to announce for the Buckeyes at the Semper Fi Bowl. Once that did not take place, the odds went way down for Ohio State. This one looks like Pittsburgh. DECISION DATE: Should come down to a Signing Day decision.
