2015 Prospect One To Watch

It's not too early to begin charting the top younger prospects in Ohio, and Massillon is a good place to start. Sophomore-to-be Devin Williams certainly passes the eye test and is one to watch.

There won't be too many recruiting done on 2015 prospects in Ohio, but it's certainly not too early to begin identifying the top players in that class.

Massillon defensive end Devin Williams is expected to contribute on the defensive line for the Tigers next year as a sophomore. He impressed on the Massillon freshman team, and has head coach Jason Hall excited over his potential.

"Devin is working hard and we expect him to be on the field next season," Hall stated. "He has the body and the attitude to be a fine football player some day, but he is only a freshman right now. We think a lot of him, and we're excited to see him progress."

Williams, 6-foot-1, 250-pounds, passes the look test with ease, and is definitely a player to chart in the class of 2015 in Ohio.

"I'm playing defensive end and guard on offense," Williams said. "They moved me up to the junior varsity last year, and I think I did really well. Playing varsity will be a challenge this year, and I'm up for it. I'm hoping to be in the rotation."

"I want to play college football after high school," he added. "Playing for Massillon is great for me to be able to make that happen. I root for Ohio State and Michigan, and like a lot of schools."
