Recruiting Update - Brandon Braxton

There have been several offensive linemen in the state of Ohio who have seen their stock rise this year, but Youngstown Ursuline's Brandon Braxton has remained at the top of the list.  We caught up with Brandon today for a Bucknuts Radio Hour interview, and he talked about going to OSU camp, his recruiting status and more.

"I'm not really going to rush into it," he said when asked about a commitment.  But he does have a timetable.

"I think I might verbal somewhere early in the season," he said.  "We (himself and Ursuline QB Darryl Clark) were talking about that, and we don't know when, but maybe before the season or early in the season."

Brandon feels his team will still be good this year even though they will miss TE Louis Irizarry (signed with Ohio State) and RB Delbert Ferguson (transferred to Warren Harding).  Brandon has been busy working to make himself better.

"I'm working on everything," he said.  "Everything that's going to make me a better offensive lineman.  When I went up to Ohio State, they told me what I needed to work on."
